This morning, make your way to the waterfront and take the ferry for a tour at Robben Island (tickets included).
In the afternoon, you will be collected by an Alluring Africa representative for your private city & table mountain tour.
Situated below Table Mountain, Devilโs Peak and Lionโs Head, Cape Town offers a rich cultural and industrial heritage, grand splendour and an assurance of activity of excitement at the V&A Waterfront. Including all the `must-sees` of any Cape Town day tour, this option is a geographical and cultural extravaganza, showing you Cape Town, from its historical beginnings to the dazzling modern shopping malls of the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront.
The tour commences with a tour of Table Mountain, In the city itself, we visit the Bo Kaap Precinct, Company Gardens, drive-by of the Castle of Good Hope, Parliament Buildings, City Hall and a stop vibrant and arty flea market of Greenmarket Square.
Table Mountain
By the late 1870’s, several of Cape Town’s more prominent citizens had suggested the introduction of a railway line to the top of Table Mountain. Plans to implement a proposed rack railway got under way but the outbreak of the Anglo-Boer war put a halt to these efforts. By 1912, with a strong desire to gain easy access to the top of Table Mountain, the Cape Town City Council commissioned an engineer to investigate the various options for public transport to the top. The new cableway was officially opened on the 4th of October 1997, the anniversary of the original launch, almost 70 years previously.
The Company Gardens
The Company Gardens have been described as โan oasis of calm in the city rushโ, and with the trees, the squirrels and lunch-hour love birds itโs easy to forget that youโre in the middle of one of Africaโs most important cities. Spots of interest include a sundial dating from 1787, a Saffren Pear Tree (believed to be South Africaโs oldest cultivated tree), a statue of Cecil John Rhodes, a rose garden and pools with brightly coloured fish. The South African National Gallery, the South African Museum and the Planetarium are situated within the grounds of the Company Gardens.
Castle of Good Hope
Built between 1666 and 1679, the Castle is the oldest surviving building in South Africa. The Castle was, however, not the first fort to be built at the Cape. A quadrangular fort was built after the arrival of Jan van Riebeeck in 1652, where the Grand Parade and the main Post Office are situated today. In 1936 the Castle was declared a National Monument. The Castle of Good Hope houses the military personnel of the SA army in the Western Cape, the famous William Fehr Collection of historic artworks, the Castle Military Museum and ceremonial facilities for traditional Cape Regiments.
The Bo-Kaap
A look at the picturesque โMalay Quarterโ, where we discover the unique culture, lifestyle and personality of the Cape Muslim community and their contribution to South Africaโs development.

After breakfast, check out of your hotel at a time to be advised. You will be collected for your private peninsula tour.
This is an awe-inspiring tour to the towering headland known as Cape Point. Magnificent beaches, breathtaking views, historic and picturesque coastal villages are to be seen along the way. The Cape Peninsula is one of the worldโs most scenic areas and stretches from the City centre to Cape Point.
We travel along the Atlantic Seaboard via Sea Point, Clifton and Camps Bay, stopping at a Llandudno look-out point before continuing to Hout Bay, a quaint village and fishing harbour with magnificent mountain views and beach. Optional: Seal Island boat trip (seasonal, weather permitting). From Hout Bay then through Chapmanโs Peak, one of the worldโs most breathtaking coastal drives, to Cape Point and the Good Hope Nature Reserve, which has magnificent fynbos vegetation, birdlife, endemic antelope species and zebra, historic lighthouses and shipwrecks. Cape Point is perceived to be the meeting point of the Atlantic and Indian Oceans.
After lunch at a nearby restaurant, we go on to historic Simonโs Town, a village with charming Victorian architecture, a naval base and a large penguin colony at the beautiful Boulders Beach. Boulders Penguin Colony is home to a growing colony of the vulnerable African Penguin. Wooden walkways allow visitors to view the penguins in their natural habitat and there is also a new information centre. We then make our way back to cape Town via the scenic Boyes Drive overlooking the False Bay coastline or via the winding Ou Kaapse Weg mountain pass.
At the conclusion of the tour, you will be transferred to Babylonstoren, where you will stay for two nights.

Enjoy three full days at Dulini River Lodge.
Game drives at Dulini Private Game Reserve are taken by professional and passionate rangers and trackers, who have a wealth of knowledge to unravel the intricate nuances of the African bush. Many of them grew up in the area and thus, their knowledge of the environment is unrivaled. All of them are professionally qualified to manage the rigorous responsibilities of the safari experience. It is these characters that will win your heart with heroic stories, wow you with phenomenal bush tales and leave you awestruck by their knowledgeable interpretation of the African wild.
10 000 hectares of pristine wilderness are traversed in the comfort of six seat open land rovers. With the teeming biodiversity of the Sabi Sand Game Reserve and the skilled interpretation of bush signs by astute Shangaan trackers, no two game drives are ever the same. Trackers and rangers partner in looking for fresh animal tracks and sensitively follow elusive animals into ravines and through thicket to ensure your vivid and exhilarating wildlife encounter.
The Dulini field guides are well-versed in creating a memorable safari and will endeavor to position the vehicle for the best photographic opportunities for guests.
The Dulini day begins at dawn. An early morning game drive ensures that you catch the tail end of the night exploits of nocturnal creatures and inspires you with the new day vigour of the bush, still veiled in dew. This is an essential two to three hour safari experience that ends in a lavish breakfast back at camp.
The option of daily bush walks is offered by our field guides. This serves to highlight those aspects of nature one may miss on a drive and expose you to the energy and excitement of being immersed in the environment.
An extended day of relaxation in the tranquillity of the Dulini setting, allows you the opportunity to share bush tales, record memories in your safari journal, indulge in the culinary temptations of our chef and simply unwind and be restored.
The excitement of the safari begins again after tea when the intensity of the African heat begins to subside. This game drive coincides with the close of business for daytime game and the emerging routines of nocturnal beasts on the prowl. There is nothing quite as enthralling as pursuing the hunt of the big cats. The excitement of each drive is interrupted by refreshment breaks, to accommodate any call of the wild and revitalize you with a sundown cocktail.
