Upon arrival into Madrid, after completing immigration and customs formalities, collect your baggage and proceed to the Arrivals Hall. Here you will be met by a Luxury Trips representative for your transfer to the Madrid Atocha Railway Station where you will take a direct train ride to Cordoba. Here you will be transferred to Hotel Madinat where you will stay for two nights.

Enjoy a free day to explore the town of Olhao, with its lovely old town little streets, its incredible food-market (one of the best in Algarve), its refreshing parks, and some of the most beautiful beaches in Algarve (note: the beaches are on the islands surrounding Ria Formosa, around 15minutes by inexpensive ferry, and still not too crowded by tourism!).
And if you’re in the mood for more action, we could always reserve for you at kite-surfing lesson, for a family day with lots of fun!
Today you’ll join a small group shared boat tour to explore the beauty of Ria Formosa Natural Park, enjoy the diversity of islands, villages and beaches of the Ria.
The tour will take you through the canals in front of Olhao and to the Barrier Islands that protect the Ria Formosa. On this tour you’ll be able to see the Farol Bar and the Sta Maria Lighthouse in Farol Island, one of the 3 lighthouses in the Algarve. Following our course we´ll make a stop at Culatra, a small fisherman’s vilage with nearly 1,000 residents whose main economic activity is fishing. The island has all the infrastructures you would expect in a normal town; shops, restaurants, school, church, medical office and so on. During a break you can go for a nice lunch of fresh fish in one of the typical restaurants or go for a nice picnic at the beach.
Afterwards we’ll continue the tour and go to Armona bay and island before returning to Olhao.
After an early breakfast, you will be collected from your hotel by an Luxury Trips representative, for your private road transfer to the airport for your departure flight. Return home, taking with you the sights, sounds, and memories of an incredible family vacation!
