Vilanculos is serviced by daily flights, with the Villa a 20 minute drive from Vilanculos International Airport. The Main Villa offers five sea-fronting, air-conditioned, en suite bedrooms, each with a private patio. The living area, comprising a lounge, TV room, ocean facing deck with martini pool, secluded patios, wind-protected courtyard pool and dining spaces are available. Day 1

Upon arrival into Johannesburg, after completing immigration and customs formalities, collect your baggage and proceed to the Arrivals Hall. Here you will make your way directly to InterContinental Johannesburg O.R. Tambo Airport Hotel, where you will stay for one night.

Day 2

At a time to be advised, make your way to the airport for your scheduled flight to Skukuza. Upon arrival, collect your baggage and proceed to the Arrivals Hall. Here you will be met by an Alluring Africa representative for your private road transfer to RockFig Safari Lodge, where you will stay for four nights.

Time permitting, enjoy lunch and an afternoon activity.

Day 3 – 5

Enjoy three full days of game viewing activities at RockFig Safari Lodge.

Set in the heart of Timbavati Private Nature Reserve, adjacent to the famous Kruger National Park, RockFig Safari Lodge is well situated for forays into the African wilds. Game drives let you cover some ground in the comfort of a vehicle, while walking safaris put you right on the ground, exploring the area under your own steam.

Game Drives: Heading out on game drives from RockFig Safari Lodge gives you the chance to get in tune with the Timbavati wilds, and see how the professional guides and trackers read the signs of the bush to anticipate the movements and behavior of birds and animals for the best possible viewing and photographic opportunities. Bush walks can be combined with the game drives should you wish to do so.

Walking Safaris: Guided walking safaris from RockFig Safari Lodge are a wonderful way to experience Timbavati on foot. Bring your walking shoes; the guides and trackers have everything else that’s required, not least their knowledge of spoor and plants. Spending time on the details of the ecosystem can be immensely rewarding, and surprising. Learn how every living creature, no matter how small, has its part to play in this intricate, interlinked web of life.

After breakfast and a morning activity (time permitting), you will be transferred by a camp vehicle to the airstrip for your scheduled charter flight to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport. Here you will connect with your scheduled flight to Mozambique. Upon arrival, after completing immigration and customs formalities, collect your baggage and proceed to the Arrivals Hall. Here you will be met by a lodge representative and transferred to Santorini Mozambique, where you will stay for four nights.

Time permitting, enjoy lunch and an afternoon activity.

Day 7 – 9

Enjoy three full days at your leisure in Mozambique.

Nicknamed the ‘Pearl of the Indian Ocean’, the Bazaruto Archipelago is a much-coveted travel destination in Mozambique. It is known for its white sandy beaches, glistening turquoise waters and some of the best scuba-diving in the world. As one of the largest marine reserves in the Indian Ocean, the archipelago supports over 2000 species of fish, as well as dolphins, whales, turtles and sharks. It also holds the largest population of Dugong in Mozambique. The archipelago consists of 5 islands: Bazaruto, Benguerra, Magaruque, Banque and Santa Carolina. It is a birders paradise, with a recorded list of over 180 species. You’ll also find 45 reptile and amphibian species; suni antelope, red duiker, endemic butterflies and the characteristic Samango monkey on the islands within the national park.

Activities: Being on the mainland, our guests have the opportunity to experience everything this magical place has to offer. From spending a day out on the magical waters surrounded by the flamboyance of flamingos to exploring the colorful markets and local shops of Vilanculos town.

Our activities room is geared for almost any pending adventure, for all ages and its all complimentary during your stay at Santorini. We have assorted kayaks, stand up paddle boards, snorkelling gear, fishing gear and even a gym in a bag for a quick workout session or yoga on the sunset patio as the sun rises above the silhouette of Magaruque Island.

Additional Activities: Our selection of outsourced available activities has been carefully chosen through partnering with local companies based in Vilanculos. Scuba diving, bill fishing, horse riding, dhow safari trips, kite surfing and scenic helicopter flights are all available.
