Whilst trekking in the depths of the lush green forest, you will be surrounded by bird song and can expect to see at least 5 or 6 other types of primate, most probably the grey-cheeked managebey and the red-tailed monkey and of course the chimpanzee. Meet your guide to explore the wonders of this magnificent park, by safari vehicle and private boat. During a typical morning game drive you can expect to see a large number of antelope species, including the bush buck, the water buck, Thomsonโs gazelle and the dik dik to name but a few. Larger herbivores, such as giraffe and elephant are present in the park in great numbers and often the lumbering giraffe will cross the roads right in front of you. Murchison Falls National Park is the most accessible park in Uganda to see the giraffe. Huge groups of buffalo are a common sight whilst exploring the park on a game drive. Primates, such as the baboon and the patas monkey, stare at you as you pass by, and if you are a bird lover then Murchison Falls National Park will not disappoint.
At Paraa jetty board your private launch trip which will take you along the Nile to the bottom of the falls. This stretch of the Nile River is calm, as the river flows in its mature stages, fronted by borassus palms, mahogany tree species and acacia wood species. A number of hippo and Nile crocodiles thrive in the river waters, while other game, such as elephant, waterbuck, buffalo, kob, and sometimes giraffe, tend to gather on the banks to drink. Bird species, such as the rare and vulnerable Shoebill stork, Saddle-billed stork, Goliath heron, African fish eagle, African jacana and many more, hover in the trees.

The Queen Elizabeth national Park spreads over an area of 1978 square km in the western arm of the Great East African Rift Valley. The park is home to a variety of wildlife including elephant, lion, hippo, leopard, buffalo and Uganda kob. Birds present are all typical of riverine and savannah habitats. The Ishasha Sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park is the place to search for the tree climbing lions often to be seen in the vicinity of the camp which is situated just off the Northern circuit game viewing track. The lions also favour the large fig trees on the Southern circuit game viewing track and this offers alternative game viewing routes.
On early morning and late afternoon game drives, you may explore the areaโs game routes in search of the different species. The area is still pristine and untouched with only a handful of game vehicles found around the area at any time. Being the only camp within the park, it offers flexibility of timings for drives allowing guests to maximize their game sightings in this area.

Enjoy two full days of game viewing activities at Desert Rhino Camp.
Outings are geared at exploring this vast, miraculous ecosystem with some of the most knowledgeable guides in Namibia โ and of course tracking the black rhino. Rhino tracking on foot and by vehicle is on offer here. We typically set out in the morning on game drive vehicles, behind the Save the Rhino trackers, who keep records on where and when previous rhino were seen. This enables them to track the rhino, although due to the vast terrain we sometimes drive long distances to view them. Once we have located an animal, tracking by foot can take place depending on the position or location of the rhino.
Game drives showcase the magnitude of the landscape and offer the best possibilities of seeing desert-adapted wildlife including rhino, elephant, giraffe, antelope, zebra and maybe even the areaโs predators.
Learn more about the smaller flora and fauna that live in this incredibly harsh environment on a guided nature walk. Adaptation to the desert environment is the miracle of all that survives here.
Enjoy a full day outing with a picnic lunch. Travel amongst rolling, rocky hills with scattered euphorbia, ancient welwitschia plants, scrubby vegetation and isolated clumps of trees through the 450 000-hectare Palmwag Concession and search out the fascinating desert-adapted wildlife of the region.
Birding enthusiasts are sure to enjoy the diverse avifauna found in the Palmwag Concession. Key species to look out for include Rรผppell’s korhaan, Benguela long-billed lark and possibly Herero chat with some focused searching. Verreauxs’ eagle is often sighted around rocky hillsides.

Views from the top are breathtaking while walks through the canyon reveal distinct geographical layers which were laid down over aeons.
Nature drives in the 37,000 hectare private Kulala Wilderness Reserve offers visitors exclusive wildlife-viewing opportunities which include the likes of oryx, bat-eared fox, brown hyaena and birdlife. Drinks stops in scenic parts of the reserve are a highlight.

The Tsauchab River Trail takes a stroll along a fascinating dry riverbed.
Eco-sensitive quad-biking through the private Kulala Wilderness Reserve will allow you to take in those incredible views and to catch a glimpse of the denizens of the desert.
Set out in the late afternoon for a nature drive and complete your excursion in a remote and dramatic spot on the reserve sipping a gin and tonic while watching the sun goes down.

In this isolated area, the Himba people continue their traditional semi-nomadic way of life and, when they are in the area, guests have an opportunity to learn about their lifestyle and customs.

Enjoy two full days of game viewing activities at Little Kulala Camp.
Activities at Little Kulala include exploring the spectacular towering dunes of Sossusvlei as well as other fascinating geographical formations of the region. Guided drives and walks are also offered on the private Kulala Wilderness Reserve.
Visit the world-famous Sossusvlei is the name of an enormous clay pan, flanked by the famous sand dunes that flush red in the early morning sun โ as well as the name of the area in general. Close to the Sossusvlei pan is Dead Vlei, another pan where water once flowed, but now all that remains are the skeletons of trees reach up out of the cracked earth.
This fascinating geographical formation is well worth a visit. The result of millions of years where water carved its way into the earth, Sesriem Canyon is today three kilometres long.
Walking trails focus on becoming immersed in this remote area, as well as its scenic beauty and the fascinating, and surprisingly, diverse array of insects, reptiles and rodents which make this dry and harsh region their home. The Tsauchab River Trail takes a stroll along a fascinating dry riverbed.
Set out in the late afternoon for a nature drive and complete your excursion in a remote and dramatic spot on the reserve sipping a gin and tonic while watching the sun goes down.
The Namib is known for its clear night skies, and with no light pollution it is the ideal spot from which to learn about the incredible formations of the stars and planets. Our guides are also known to dabble in astronomy and will guide you through the constellations while our telescope will allow you to look closer.

Enjoy two full days of game viewing activities at Damaraland Camp.
Activities at Damaraland Camp revolve around exploring the Haub River system, surrounding desert plains and ancient valleys framed by the Etendeka Mountains. Guided nature drives and walks are a feature as well as engaging with the communities of the area.
Morning and afternoon game drives reveal the dramatic scenery and fascinating wildlife of the region. Desert-adapted elephant are the highlight of the area, although the natural cycle of rainfall dictates the seasonal movements of wildlife along the Huab River.
Learn about the unique heritage of the local peoples, which include Nama-Damara, Herero, Owambo, and the displaced Riemvasmaakers of South Africa. This activity allows you to respectfully engage with these communities and it also includes a visit to a local farm at either Fonteine Pos or DeRiet.
On a guided nature walk, learn more about the ancient geological past and present of Damaraland as well as about the unique plants, birds and reptiles that have superbly adapted to this arid area.
Damaraland is world-famous for its ancient rock art; guests on stays of three nights or more can take a day drive to visit some of these remains and marvel at the artists of ages past.
