The next few days are yours to enjoy as you wish. For adventure lovers, the area lends itself for exploration of its natural beauty either by bike, car or even on foot, for those in good shape!
To the east, you will find the beautiful sandy beach of Stavros on the foot of the huge steep rock of Stavros, an idyllic scenery, where Antony Queen danced syrtaki in the most characteristic scene of the film “Zorbas, the Greek”, an adaptation of Kazantakis’ novel.
To the west, you will find the village of Chorafakia and from there you can easily get to the lovely sandy beach of Tersanas, which is next to another beautiful sandy beach, Maherida. From Chorafakia, you can also take the communal road that leads to two of the most important historical sites of Christianity in Crete, the Holy Monasteries of Agia Triada (Tsagarolon) and Gouverneto that surprises trekkers with its beautiful ravine leading to the crystal clear Aegean sea. Also to the west, there is the exotic sandy beach of Kalathas, which is a charming natural bay on the edge of a ravine, ideal for families with young children.
Southwest of Kavos Hotel, you can enjoy two more lovely sandy beaches: Marathi, where you can also have lunch or dinner and Loutraki, which is mostly popular with young couples thanks to its beach bar that offers a panoramic view to the shimmering sea. Last but not least,
To the east, near the village of Chordaki, you will find a lost paradise, Seitan Limani, a pebbly beach that will compensate you for the trouble it takes to get there.

At 6:00 am, you will be picked up from your hotel by a Travel Exchange Crete representative, and transferred to the hydrofoil which will take you to Santorini (9:00 am/10:45 am). Upon arrival you will be met by a Travel Exchange Greece representative and transferred to Apanemo Hotel where you will stay for three nights.
From your hotel, your view will flow freely over the magnificent bay of Caldera; your eyesight will feel the unhindered volcano, while it will be pleased by the amphitheatrical view of the entire island. Every room is decorated with artistry, according to the traditional architecture of the island of Santorini. Akrotiri has the only beaches in Caldera within easy walking distance.
Caldera beach is easily accessible by car and foot and offers a unique view of Caldera, along with crystal blue waters.
Balos is the beach where local people meet. Located within a short walk from the motorway, the small sandy beach and the fantastic site of a small church above the sea will reward you.
Red Beach the famous beach is also near Akrotiri within 5 minutes of driving. The red rock formations attribute to this place a unique character.
Mesa Pigadia is a rocky beach not so crowded with a water cave which you can access by swimming.
Perivolos or Perissa beach is the longest beach on the island. Its crowded beach bars and water sport activities will keep you busy all day long.
Kamari beach is located at the eastern part of the island, famous for its clear blue water.
