A visit to the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, is a day spent in the past, seeing ancient architecture and eating age old recipes, a feast fit for Anthony and Cleopatra themselves! Constantly uncovering this city beneath the sands of time, now exclusively a Moroccan project runs by Moroccan archaeologists.

For the more daring and fun-loving we recommend sandboarding. Sandboarding (also known as Sand Surfing) is a board sport, just like to snowboarding except on sand. It involves sliding down, or across, a sand dune while standing with both feet strapped to a board. More daring people use a board with no bindings, a method that is considered by many as much more dangerousโฆ
Or how about a sand bath, a Berber treatment used since antiquity to relieve rheumatism. The bath consists of covering the body by the sand โ from the chest to the toes, in a hole of about 1ft deep, for an average of 10 minutes. The baths are prepared by curists, who dig the hole and care for the guest. At first, the sand is very hot, but after a few minutes the body adapts to the temperature of the sand and a generalized sweating begins and the guest feels a comfortable relief. During the bath, the guest should drink small sips of mineral water to cool off and rehydrate. After 10 minutes, the guest leaves the bath, and the curist covers the patient a wool blanket in order to fight against the cold caused by difference in temperature between the sand and the air.
Join us for the quad experience of a lifetime! Drive through the ever changing dunes; weave through the trackless desert, tackling both low and high dunes. Stop for a breather and soft refreshments before you set off again. This adventure safari is suited to the discerning outdoor adventure enthusiast and nature lover.
Tonight, enjoy dinner, campfire and stargazing accompanied by local tribal music.

After breakfast, you will be collected by local guide for your Guided Tour of the Medina, Spice Market & Artisan Quarters.
During this guided tour, you will visit the medina and the souks of Marrakech, including the Jewish quarter. Moroccoโs rich history includes a long period of Arab and Jewish communities accepting their differences and living and working together to bring success to their respective businesses. The Mellah in Marrakech refers to the area where the Jewish community resided. At its peak in the 1500s, the Mellah in Marrakech included bakers, jewelers, tailors, sugar traders, artisans, craftsmen, outdoor markets, fountains and synagogues. While the Jewish population of Marrakech has substantially decreased, you can still see the shopfronts and a few synagogues as you walk around this part of town.
The term Souk refers to the markets, and the markets of Marrakech are located in a serpentine set of alleyways with twists and turns that can confuse even frequent travelers to the city! Our expert guide can give you an overview of how the souk is laid out and where the different sections are located, with each focused on a different set of goods (clothes, spices, lamps, shoes, traditional crafts, etc).
