Upon arrival at Casablanca Airport you will be met and taken on a tour of Hassan II Mosque (time permitting).
After the 1 hour tour, you will depart for Rabat where you will stay at Riad Dar Dar or similar for one night.
Rabat is the government Capital of Morocco and home to the Royal family. This impressive city is the result of a new town built under the French Protectorate from 1912-1930s which meticulously guarded the older parts of the city dating back to the 12th Century. Some sites to explore are the Chellah, spectacular Andalusia gardens of the Oudaya Kasbah, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, Hassan Tower, and Rabat Archaeological Museum.

After a brief tour of Rabat, depart for Fes visiting Volubilis and Meknes en route.
Find beautiful mosaic floors in Volubilis, uncovered and brought to light by the archaeologists that still work on this partly excavated site. It was developed from the 3rd century BC onwards as a Phoenician and later a Carthaginian settlement. The town fell to local tribesmen in 285 and was never recovered by the Roman Empire. Constantly uncovering this city beneath the sands of time, now exclusively a Moroccan project runs by Moroccan archaeologists.
Then head to Meknes, one of the Imperial cities and once Capital of Morocco under the rule of Moulay Ismail, it has a wonderful charm and style, with beautiful gates, palaces and mosques, all enhanced by the beauty of the surrounding countryside.
Continue to Fes and overnight at Palais Amani or similar for two nights.

Today we set off for Merzouga, the threshold of the Sahara Desert. In the afternoon we’ll be heading out on camels (or 4 x4) to a Bedouin camp for a night under the starlit skies of the desert. Music, bonfires and a night of stargazing is what it’s all about. Spend the night in a charming bivouac of a dozen oriental-inspired tents in the most beautiful corner of Morocco. Today takes us through Todra Gorge, Tineghir and then to Skoura. The “Valley of One Thousand Kasbahs” and Skoura palmeraie is a fertile oasis lined with immense palm groves that provide great views of the Atlas Mountains alongside deserted landscapes. The palm groves were laid out in the 12th century by the Almohad sultan Yacoub el-Mansour and named after its original inhabitants, the Berbers of the Haskourene tribe. The most beautiful Kasbahs in southern Morocco can be found here, some are ruins, but others are still partially inhabited as the rivers keep this a verdant area making farming a possibility despite the arid surroundings.

Depart Skoura for Marrakech through Ouarzazate & Ait Benhaddou.
Ait Benhaddou, is one of the, most spectacular sites found along the valley of the Kasbahs. Located along the former trade route between the Sahara and Marrakech, it presents a majestic sight and has been featured as the back drop in many films including ‘Lawrence of Arabia’ and ‘Jesus of Nazareth’. The crumbling buildings made up of six Kasbahs and nearly fifty ksars, (individual Kasbahs) are built from local clay brick, it blends in with the landscape and can be seen from far away, rising above the desert plains.
