Upon arrival you will be met by a camp vehicle and transferred to Duba Plains Camp where you will stay for three nights. Time permitting, enjoy lunch and an afternoon activity.
Duba Plains Camp sits in the heart of the Okavango Delta among a matrix of palm-dotted islands, flood plains and woodland on a 33,000 hectare private reserve. It is also the place that Great Plains Conservation co-founders, National Geographic filmmakers, conservationists and explorers, Dereck and Beverly Joubert, chose for their home base.
Duba Plains Camp offers 5 bespoke tents designed to blend into the landscape and evoke the classic African safari style of the 1920’s. All the rooms are raised on recycled railway-sleeper decking and with stunning views of the surrounding floodplain and the steady stream of wildlife parading past.

Upon arrival you will be met by a camp vehicle and transferred to Zarafa Camp where you will stay for three nights. Time permitting, enjoy lunch and an afternoon activity.
Zarafa means “the beloved one” in Arabic and comes from a giraffe that was presented to Charles X of France in 1826 by the Viceroy of Egypt. Today Zarafa, Botswana’s first Relais & Chateaux property, is an exquisite camp located on the private 130,000 hectare Selinda Reserve. The Reserve links the Okavango Delta with Chobe National Park and every area of the camp offers stunning views over the Zibadianja Lagoon, the source of the Savuti Channel.
Each of Zarafa Camp’s four guest tents are 1000 square foot (100m2), set on raised decking, under flowing canvas. Entering through a Lamu door guests, find a lavish space of deep reds and browns. The bedroom is connected to a full lounge and open layout bathroom complete with cooper claw-foot bath. Extensive decking includes a private plunge pool and outdoor shower.
Under a canopy of ebony trees, the camp has a sizable main lounge, library, dining area and bush boutique. An outdoor gym and in-room massage are available. With all its careful appointments, Zarafa maintains the perfect balance between luxury, romance and adventure and the camp has no equal when it comes to its environmental credentials. Only recycled hardwoods and canvas were used in the construction, all the camp’s electricity comes from its solar farm and a bio-gas system converts vegetable waste into usable cooking gas.

Upon arrival you will be met by a camp vehicle and transferred to Mpala Jena Camp, where you will stay for three nights. Time permitting, enjoy lunch and an afternoon activity.
Mpala Jena Camp is located on a private concession within the Zambezi National Park. Overlooking a beautiful stretch of the Zambezi River shoreline, there will be 3 guest tents and 2 Family tents all positioned under the dappled shade of a mixture of indigenous trees including Kigelia Africana (sausage tree), Lonchocarpus capassa (rain tree) and Syzygium cordatum (water berrytree). The camp is named after the natural spring-line, Mpala Jena, which runs through the centre of the concession, and which attracts an abundance of wildlife throughout the year, particularly during the drier months.
’Mpala Jena’ means “White Impala” and according to the local National Park rangers, at the time when the Zambezi National Park was separated from the Victoria Falls National Park and declared a National Park in its own right in 1979, there had been regular sightings of a “ghost-like” albino impala along the river in this area. The Zambezi National Park has a healthy and ever increasing number of wildlife species, with higher concentrations of buffalo and elephant during the months June through to October.

Enjoy two full days of game viewing activities at Mpala Jena Camp.
Mpala Jena means “white impala”, a mythical animal once seen in the Zambezi National Park. It is also the name of the springs that attract so many wild animals year-round to the edges of the camp’s four tents. Under the light shade of tall trees, Mpala Jena Camp sits languidly in a Moroccan-inspired setting. Featuring recycled wood and canvas as well as solar electricity, its presence on the banks of the river is meant to be as light and discreet as possible. A paradise for experienced or amateur birdwatchers, it combines the pleasures of safari, plunge pools with views of the rapids and adventures to Victoria Falls, a mere fifteen kilometers away.
Wildlife Drives: Open vehicle game-drives in Zambezi National Park. The camp has custom built Land cruisers specially designed for photography. With just four to six guests each, the vehicles are fully stocked with reference books, drinks and snacks.
Boating: Mpala Jena Camp has it’s own 8-seater aluminum hulled motor boat perfect for sun-downer cruises.
Guided Tour of Victoria Falls: During a two night stay, guests have the opportunity to enjoy a half-day guided excursion to the thunderous and impressive mass of falling water of the Victoria Falls.
