The journey takes you to the ancient Kingdom of Kourion, which is placed on one of the most spectacular sites in the island, with extensive archaeological ruins including well-preserved mosaics. Its Greco-Roman theatre, built in the second century BC, is famous for its vistas of the Mediterranean Sea. The kingdom is also renowned for its preserved mosaic floors in the House of Eustolios, the House of Achilles and the House of the Gladiators.
Proceed to the village of Lefkara, renowned for its unique architecture, charming narrow streets and limestone-built houses. Lefkara is celebrated for its magnificent lace making. It is where Leonardo Da Vinci purchased the lace cloth masterpiece with which he decorated the altar of Milan in 1481. Visitors can walk through the narrow winding streets to discover the silversmiths and the lace-makers, whose designs follow the time-honored traditions of their forefathers. To add to the Cyprus experience, enjoy a local Cypriot coffee at leisure with local delights (own account). Lunch will be served at a local tavern.
Time permitting, visit Choirokitia, the oldest Neolithic settlement in Cyprus. The site is one of the best-preserved prehistoric sites of the eastern Mediterranean. Return to the hotel for an evening at leisure.

Limassol, traces its history to the Middle Ages, and is named so being situated between (anamesa) the ancient Kingdom of Kourion and Amathus. The first stop will be at the ancient Kingdom of Amathus, one of the ancient Kingdoms in Cyprus. Based on mythology, the King Kiniras was the founder of this ancient city and it is where Theseus left the pregnant Ariadne to be cared for after the battle with the Minotaur. The various attractions at the site include the ruins of the Temple of Aphrodite and the tombs dating back to the early Iron Age.
Passing though the Fassouri citrus plantations, you will come across the medieval Castle of Kolossi. It is a fine example of military architecture originally constructed in the 13th century during the crusades. After the Siege of Acre in 1291, it served as the Grand Commanderie of the Knights of the Order of St. John of Jerusalem; and thus gave its name to the world famous Commandaria wine, which is still produced in the area.
Proceed back to Limassol, where you can wonder the old town’s winding shopping streets and bargain with the local shopkeepers for handicrafts and visit one of the town’s many coffee shops at your leisure. The Limassol harbor and Marina, with its range of upscale shops and restaurants, is only a short walk away. Lunch will be served in a local tavern. Return to the hotel where the balance of the day is at leisure.

On the way to Paphos, you will make a slight detour towards The Sanctuary of Apollon Hylates. Apollon, God of the Woodland, was the protector of Kourion and it is believed that he was worshipped at the site from the 8th century BC to the 4th century AD. His sanctuary was an important religious center and underwent many extensions and alterations in different periods. The journey then takes you along the coasts of Paphos through the Happy Valley old road. You will first make a short stop at a local tavern just above the Aphrodite’s rock, where you will be able to enjoy refreshments or some locally prepared coffee (own account) and enjoy the magnificent views before driving down to visit Aphrodite’s rock, which according to mythology is the birthplace of the Goddess of Beauty and Love. Be inspired by this amazing scenery and allow Aphrodite to be your hostess throughout this journey of senses, colors and experiences in beautiful Cyprus.
After freshening up at the hotel, continue with your tour of Paphos. Your trail starts from The Tombs of the Kings, an early Hellenistic monument dating from the 4th century BC. They are burial caves carved into the bedrock of the hill and decorated with Doric columns and capitals.
Proceed to Almyra Hotel Paphos where you will stay for four nights.
Lunch will be served either to the Limanaki of Paphos with stunning views of the fishing harbor and the medieval castle of Paphos or to a traditional tavern under the shadow of an ‘’ampeli’’.
After lunch, continue to The Church of Panayia Chrysopolitissa, built in the 13th century over the ruins of the largest Early Byzantine basilica on the island. Within the compound, one can see St. Paul’s Pillar, where according to tradition; the saint was flogged before the Roman Governor Sergius Paulus converted to Christianity. The floor of the basilica was covered with colorful mosaics, some of which are still preserved today.
Visit the famous Mosaics of the Roman period, dating from around the 3rd century AD. These are situated in four main houses: the House of Aion, House of Dionysos, House of Orpheus and House of Theseus. They include many attention-grabbing geometrical decorations and draw inspiration from Greek mythological scenes. Return to the hotel where the balance of the afternoon and evening are at leisure.

The “Baths of Aphrodite” is an area in the Akamas between Polis and Cape Arnaouti. It derived its name from a small grotto shaded by an old fig tree, the waters of which, legend has it, the goddess Aphrodite used to bathe. According to mythology, this is where she met her lover Adonis. The legend has it, that any woman who washes her face with that water, will stay beautiful forever. Continue to Polis, where lunch will be served at a local tavern before returning to your hotel.
In the evening, your driver will meet you in the lobby of the hotel to proceed to Cousins Restaurant in Peyia Village for dinner. (Dinner is not included and should be paid directly)

Kykkos is the richest and most significant monastery on the island. Founded in 1100 and dedicated to the Virgin Mary, it possesses one of the three surviving icons ascribed to St. Luke. Its famous ecclesiastical museum houses icons and objects from the Byzantine era.
Not far from Kykkos, take a short stroll to Throni, to visit the tomb of the late Archbishop Makarios III amidst the dense forest. Covered in dense pine and cedar forests and dotted in picturesque villages; the Troodos Mountain range and Mount Olympus stand at 1,952 meters above sea level. It is a unique geological complex which dominates the central and western part of the island. Troodos is home to beautiful native wildflowers and vegetation.
Your excursion takes you to Omodos, a traditional Cypriot wine producing village, once the property of Sir John De Brie, Prince of Galilee. The village is also renowned for its Monastery of the Holly Cross standing by the stone-paved square. Apart from its byzantine era icons, it holds excellent wood carvings and other ecclesiastical objects of interest, as well as a small national museum.
Omodos has a long tradition in wine making. A traditional wine press known as Linos is preserved. Stop and sample the local wines and liqueurs: a selection of white and red wines, the famous Commandaria dessert wine and of course Zivania.
After lunch at a local tavern, stroll around the village’s winding streets and mingle with the locals, walk around for some shopping at the various small shops selling traditional Cypriot items such as crafts, lace and local delights. Return and overnight in the hotel in Paphos.
