Alyeska

Alyeska

With ample annual snowfall, close to a hundred cycle trails and thousands of skiable acres, Mt Alyeska is a prime location for adrenaline junkies. Forming part of the Chugach mountain range, Mt Alyeska is accessed via the town of Girdwood, a resort town lying just south of Anchorage, Alaska. Visitors can look forward to experiencing the spectacular views of Turnagain Arm, a spectacularly scenic waterway running into the northwestern part of the Gulf of Alaska. The Seven Glaciers restaurant and bar is accessible by taking the 60-passenger scenic aerial tram. Other popular activities in the Alkyeska region include mountain biking, for which training courses and gear are provided, rock climbing and paragliding. Donโ€™t miss the once-in-a-lifetime exhilarating experience of riding a dog sled on a glacier.
