Dumela Wilderness Safaris is deep in the heart of the Great Limpopo Transfrontier Park, with Kruger National Park and Gonarezhou National Park within easy driving distance. Guests have three camping sites to choose from, each with its unique attractions, such as camping by the river, in a forest or on top of a small hill with a unisex bathroom available for guests. With 2km Limpopo river frontage and the Mugano lagoon stretching through the property, wildlife such as elephants, buffalo, leopard, hippo, crocodile, kudu, bushbuck and nyala can be spotted regularly. As for birdlife, the Pafuri area is the best-known in Southern Africa, with more than 450 species guests can expect to see the Pel’s Fishing Owl and many other rare species.
