Today, you will be collected by your Alluring Africa private vehicle and guide for your Full Day City Tour with Discovery Pass.
Cape Townโs natural beauty, cosmopolitan flavor and rich cultural diversity offer guests a variety of ways to experience the oldest city in South Africa โ hence its name: The Mother City.
Walk the summit of Table Mountain โ at 1 086 metres above sea level, thereโs a spectacular 360-degree view of the city, sea and the Cape Peninsula. Access to the summit is via the fast and convenient Table Mountain Aerial Cableway.
Explore the city, including the Companyโs Garden โ where food was grown for passing ships in the 17th century โ take in the Houses of Parliament, National Gallery, St Georgeโs Cathedral, and browse for keepsakes at Greenmarket Square. Pause for a coffee at the legendary โsteampunkโ Truth Coffee, and taste local delicacies such as biltong and koeksisters near Bree Street.
Take in the highs and lows of Cape Town history, from the Grand Parade, where Nelson Mandela addressed the nation after his release from prison, to the District Six Museum, which highlights the bitter, forced removal of the areaโs residents during apartheid. The brightly painted houses and cobblestone streets of the Bo-Kaap provide wonderful photo opportunities โ but donโt ignore the poignant history of the people living there. A visit to the spice shop is also a must!
*Full Day City Discovery Pass – Providing full flexibility including conservation fees (Table Mountain Cableway weather permitting); selected Museums, Truth Coffee, Bo Kaap, Kirstenbosch and various points of interest.
Light Lunch – enjoy a light meal from a leading local eatery while on your day’s journey, the Cape food scene offers a blend of cuisines suitable for every palette.
Robben Island Accompanied – a private guide accompanied visit and scheduled tour of Robben Island where Nelson Mandela was incarcerated.

Today, you will be collected by your Alluring Africa private vehicle and guide for your Full Day Peninsula Tour with Discovery Pass.
On this must-do private journey around the Cape Peninsula, youโll tour the spectacular Atlantic seaboard. The drive takes you past the swish seaside suburbs of Sea Point and Clifton, and on to Camps Bay, with its many trendy beachfront cafรฉs and restaurants.
The exclusive hamlets of Bakoven and Llandudno are also gorgeous sights to take in on your way to the fishing village of Hout Bay. Next, youโll navigate the breathtaking curves of Chapmanโs Peak Drive as it follows the Peninsulaโs rocky coastline, revealing spectacular views in all directions.
At the Cape of Good Hope, which forms part of Table Mountain National Park, you have the opportunity to see some fabulous bird life, as well as very special fauna, such as Cape mountain zebra, bontebok and chacma baboons. Ride the funicular to the Cape Point Lighthouse and capture even more magical vistas of False Bay, or if you are feeling active, hike up from the famous Cape of Good Hope landmark.
Of course, no visit to the Cape Peninsula would be complete without popping in at Boulders Beach to witness the antics of the African penguins. Head home through the naval village of Simonโs Town, stop to browse the eclectic range of shops and galleries in bohemian Kalk Bay, and spot the surfers vying for the best waves at Muizenberg.
To round off your day, take a stroll through Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, nestled on the slopes of Table Mountain. Here you can admire a panoply of the unique Cape flora also known as fynbos, as well as plants from the many diverse biomes of southern Africa. Or, if you prefer the fruits of a different kind of plant altogether, enjoy a wine tasting at one of the premium estates in the Constantia Valley.
*Full Day Peninsula Discovery Pass – Providing full flexibility inclusive of conservation fees covering Cape Point, Funicular, Penguins, Kirstenbosch and selected Constantia Wine Tastings.
Light Lunch – enjoy a light meal from a leading local eatery while on your day’s journey, the Cape food scene offers a blend of cuisines suitable for every palette.

Enjoy two full days of game viewing activities at Tswalu Motse.
One of the very few mountain ranges in the southern Kalahari โ the Korannaberg โ casts a benevolent shadow over the rolling dunes and expansive grasslands of Tswalu. Tswalu also receives more rainfall than many other parts of the Kalahari.
In the shelter of the mountains โ which also provide a dramatic backdrop to wildlife sightings โ you can encounter Tswaluโs 240 bird and 80 mammal species, including Hartmannโs mountain zebra and wild dog.
As we learn more about Tswalu through research projects supported by the Tswalu Foundation, this amazing region continues to surprise. To date, more butterfly species have been recorded here than in the entire British Isles. By way of confounding stereotypes, Tswalu is even home to three species of amphibian.
Tswalu land is not shared with guests from other concessions or lodges. This means that there are no areas that are off-limits, and you can spend as long as you wish at sightings or indulging in your own particular interests, whether they are creatures large or small. A private guide, vehicle and tracker are assigned to each booking, allowing for a completely personalised Tswalu experience.
At Tswalu youโll encounter species you may have seen elsewhere, along with drier area specialist species that you probably havenโt. While zebra, buffalo and giraffe will be familiar if youโve been on safari before, this will likely be your first opportunity to capture iconic Kalahari images such as dainty springbok with a backdrop of red sand, or the silhouette of a gemsbok atop a dune.
Many of the species found at Tswalu are of particular significance to the San people, as evidenced by their inclusion in ancient galleries of rock art.
There is a timeless quality to Kalahari โ itโs a place where humans have wandered and wondered since the dawn of creation. We stay true to this feeling by letting you shape your own days and spending as long as you wish on each activity.
