Noonu Atoll

Noonu Atoll

Noonu Atoll (also known as South Miladhunmadulu) is located below Shaviyani Atoll and has Manadhoo as its capital. It forms part of the Maldives North and is made up of 71 paradisiacal islands, of which only 13 are inhabited. Stunning turquoise waters, powdery white sands, and luxury facilities attract visitors to this other-worldly destination. The atoll is a popular scuba diving location, due to its high density of swarming fish and a large number of spinner dolphins, grey and white tip reef sharks, and other marine species. The coral life here is dramatically colourful, with dive sites such as Edu Faru, Christmas Tree Rock, and Orimas Thila drawing plenty of attention.
