We had a fantastic trip. This is the first time we’ve used a company like ATI and we’re glad we did. All the lodges and guesthouses we stayed at were excellent. Rivendell was a good start and end: informal, friendly and helpful staff, convenient position. Those that stand out in particular were: Kalahari Farmhouse (interesting farm visit to see cheesemaking and meat processing with Brezhnev); Desert Homestead where the views are breathtaking and two of the staff found us a scorpion (we’d never seen one at close quarters!); Okaukuejo Resort where our accommodation was right opposite the water hole where all the animals came to drink and Okonjima Bush Camp where we tracked cheetas with an excellent guide.
